Teacher Encounters

A meaningful interaction between teachers and employers.

Workplace visits for teachers across Dorset.

Teacher Encounters supports education staff to increase their knowledge, confidence and understanding of careers available, educational pathways and skills needed to grow the economy. As a result, teachers will link employer experiences into the curriculum.

Teacher Encounters benefit everyone involved; Teachers gain an understanding of the world of work, including available pathways such as Apprenticeships and T-Levels.

Teachers disseminate acquired knowledge through curriculum teaching and their advice to young people.

Employers can showcase their organisation and promote required skills.
