Michelle's role as Enterprise Coordinator is to support BCP Council middle and secondary schools to help every young person find their best next step, by ensuring that there is consistent high-quality careers education taking place locally based upon the local skills and national government plans. By forging strategic partnerships across the local area, Michelle ensures that the delivery of our schools careers education aligns to local skills priorities, children's individual needs and schools get the support they need in achieving the Gatsby Benchmarks.
Michelle has a demonstrated history of working in a Specialist SEND School and within the secondary education industry. She also holds an accredited Level 6 Diploma in Marketing with the CIM, Level 6 Diploma in Business studies and a Level 6 Careers Leader Certificate with the CDI in conjunction with her Management Science BSc degree.
Michelle is passionate about improving the aspirations, knowledge and holistic next steps pathways of all secondary school students. Her aim is to ensure every school feels empowered and supported in educating their students in the knowledge and understanding of the different access routes of; employment, training, apprenticeships and university so they are able to make an informative personal choice that is individualised to their own aspirations and passions.
